The Avondale Arts Alliance exhibition Seeds of Liberation featured 88 works by 44 local artists. The artwork selections were made by a committee of eight local artists and art leaders working together since April, 2024.

Are They Us?

With my SCI came hypertonia, a condition in which there is too much muscle tone so that arms or legs are stiff and difficult to move. This is the Land of Hypertonia—an expansive landscape that’s been hit by quite a terrain-altering event and which serves as a visual representation of how my body can feel beneath the surface.
